IT appears the rearranged Midland Football League Premier Division match between Sporting Khalsa and Alvechurch will now be played on Monday night and not Friday.
Initially, it was set for this Friday, meaning Alvechurch would play twice in two days and Khalsa three.
If Alvechurch lost the game, Hereford would win the title with victory over Heanor Town the following day.
But with news that the game is now set to be on Monday, the chances of the Bulls getting their hands on the trophy look slim.
For that to happen, they have to hope Alvechurch lose to strugglers Bardon Hill, as well as beating Heanor.
If that scenario does not happen, then the race carries on to Monday night when Hereford go to Coventry Sphinx and Alvechurch face Sporting Khalsa.
The Midland League have confirmed the trophy will be at a ground where a club can win the division, meaning it will be at Edgar Street this Saturday.
