SPORTING Khalsa manager Ian Rowe says his side will be aiming to beat both  Alvechurch and Hereford FC in two crucial matches in the Midland Football League Premier Division.

Khalsa – who are now out of the title picture following consecutive draws – host Alvechurch tomorrow before entertaining Hereford on Tuesday.

Hereford will go 10 points clear at the top of the division if they beat Quorn and Alvechurch lose.

"Every game is a big game and we want to win every one," said Rowe.

"We are all looking forward to the Alvechurch game and I'm friends with their manager Ian Long.

"Hereford are going to win the league, but we will try and put in a much better performance than we did at Edgar Street.

"I picked the wrong side and had the wrong formation – we just didn't turn up for that game.

"It was a complete no-show and the real Khalsa didn't show up.

"But Peter [Beadle] was a real gentleman after the game and they will go back up to where they belong."
