FOUR goals from Sam Pearson helped Pegasus Juniors comfortably beat Tipton Town 5-2 in West Midlands (Regional) League Premier Division.

The Leominster striker netted three of his strikes in the second half, with Cory Hyde also being on target.

Tipton, who sit bottom of the division having been relegated from the Midland Football League Premier Division last season, started brightly, but found themselves 1-0 down in the 14th minute after Pearson coolly rolled the balled past goalkeeper Sandip Bains.

But the away side were on leve terms just eight minutes later when neat inter-play between Matthew Weyman and Gandandeer Kular teed up Ravi Sanhar to score.

In the second half, Hyde had two goal-scoring chances cleared off the line for Pegasus before he did score from Ben Price's corner.

But back came Tipton who equalised for the second time just two minutes later thanks to a Weyman free-kick.

However, Pegasus scored again five minutes through Pearson before the marksman completed his hat-trick in the 76th minute with a sweet volley from 20 yards.

Pearson then netted again after being set up by Ru Wood.

Bromyard Town fell to a 5-4 defeat in a dramatic game against Dudley Sports.

Shepherd Machingauta and Aaron Gordon put Dudley 2-0 up before Bromyard had Martin Newman sent off.

However, Bromyard came storming back to remarkably take a 3-2 half-time lead.

Machingauta then scored again to make it 3-3 before Danny Sheppel put Town back in front.

But Tom Watkins levelled matters once again before Stuart Hillman won the game.

Kington Town won for the fourth successive game in Division One after Nicholas Evans, Ryan Nicholas and Joe Maygothling scored in a 3-2 win at Wednesfield, while Lads Club overcame Trysull 2-1 thanks to goals from Danny Moon and Dan Herbert.
