TALGARTH Town maintained a two point lead at the top of the Watson Financial Mid Wales League (South) with a 3-0 success at St Harmon.

Harry Sharman, Jordan Harvey and Ceri Jones shared the goals for Talgarth who lead Brecon Northcote and Llanidloes Town Reserves by two points.

The title race is evenly poised, with many as seven teams in contention.

However, Knighton Town Reserves dropped vital points for the second week in a row after being held to a 2-2 draw by Rhayader Reserves.

Connor Bird and Billy Hyett netted for Knighton and Mark Davies and Dan Goodman for Rhayader.

In Spar Mid-Wales League Division One, Hay St Mary's saw their home clash with Bow Street postponed due to a waterlogged pitch, while Radnor Valley’s Central Wales Challenge Cup tie against Tywyn Bryncrug was another weather victim.

Newbridge looked on course for victory at Dyffryn Banw in Division Two after Alfie Stonefield and Aeron Powell saw them 2-1 up but the villagers were undone by two goals in the last three minutes as Banw snatched a 3-2 win.
