GERAINT Lloyd led the way as Radnor Valley notched their biggest ever win in Spar Mid Wales Division One with a 6-0 away success at strugglers Montgomery Town.
The former Rhosgoch favourite bagged a hat-trick with Joey Price (2) and Lewis Morris also on target as Radnor ended a memorable year on a winning note to climb up to 11th.
Player-manager Adam Worton grabbed the winner for the second time in a week as Knighton Town completed a festive double with a 2-1 home win over Hay St Marys.
Danny Ives had headed Knighton ahead but Steve Morgan had the Saints level before half-time.
Worton won it with a second half free-kick although the Robins had to withstand some late pressure as Hay pushed for an equaliser.
The win leaves Knighton in eighth position in the division, while Hay lie fifth.
This Saturday is the third round of the Central Wales Challenge Cup.

Newbridge are also in action and are away to Llansantffraid Village.
