WELLINGTON Reserves are now just eight points behind Hereford Times Herefordshire Football League Premier Division leaders Tenbury United with three games in hand following a 2-0 win against Lads Club Reserves.

The victory preserves Wellington's unbeaten record, but they were helped by Mark Holder being sent off for Lads Club.

Leominster Town are now third after they beat Pegasus Reserves, but the north Herefordshire club have played more games than everyone else in the division.

Jack Brazier led the way for Leominster with two goals, with Aaron Bowden and James Watkins also on target.

Fownhope drew 2-2 with Westfields Reserves, with Dennis Pepper and Ryan Rowlett netting for the villagers.

Joel Cassidy scored both of Westfields' goals.

The one other match in the division saw Ewyas Harold beat ten-man Orleton Colts 3-0.

Declan Clark, Karl Lewis and Rory Worthing were the goalscorers.

There were fine away wins for Hinton Reserves, Woofferton and Fownhope Reserves in Division One.

Rod Haslam grabbed a hat-trick for Hinton Reserves in their 4-3 win at Bromyard, a victory that earns them this week's team of the week award, while Woofferton thrashed Kingstone Harriers 5-0.

Marlon Ransome was also in fine goalscoring form for Fownhope Reserves, with his hat-trick helping his team to a 6-4 win at Orleton Colts Reserves.

Sinkums, who were bottom of the division only a few weeks ago, now find themselves in fifth after they beat Ewyas Harold Reserves 4-1.

Kington Town Reserves also had their scoring boots on as they hammered bottom club Withington 14-0 in Division Two.

Sam Goodman netted four of the goals, with Neil Price also grabbing a hat-trick.

Further goals came from Ollie Hughes (2), Stephen Caple, Samuel Lloyd, Ryan Newton, Daniel Stack and Jack Carpenter.

Ledbury Town Reserves celebrated their return to New Street with a fine 7-1 win against Burghill, while Holme Lacy Reserves comfortably beat Hereford City 5-1.

Civil Service remain top of the division after they beat Shobdon 3-1, while there were wins for Dore Valley and Weobley over Kingstone Rovers and Bartestree Reserves respectively.
