A HEREFORD girls football team are enjoying a well-earned rest following a fantastic season.
Lads Club Under-14s finished unbeaten in the Gloucestershire League having won all of their 14 games, scoring an amazing 101 goals in the process.
They also won the Gloucestershire League Cup in Bristol, as well as the Herefordshire County Cup, and more recently, finished fifth in the regional finals of a national futsal tournament in Birmingham.
"There were eight teams from all of the regions and we finished fifth overall," said Lads Club Vixens coach Steve Bond.
"We conceded a goal with seconds to go in the semi-finals, which we were a bit gutted about, but the girls have done amazing."
The team consists of goalkeeper Charlotte Osbourne, defenders Katie Clarke, Ellie Bryan, Alannah Cartwright, Lizzie Gray, Abi Bing and Pollie Jordan, midfielders Alice Randall, Emily Griffiths, Amelia Stezaker and Freya Owen and strikers Lauren Brown, Sophie Bond, Evie Jones and Sinead Bushell.
