BROCKHAMPTON continue to march on in Birmingham & District Premier Division League Division One.

The villagers are now 12 points clear at the top, with their latest win being a four-wicket success against Barnards Green.

Former Bromyard player Ryan Tongue was the star man, smashing a fantastic 112 from just 121 balls and taking 3-39.

Brockhampton bowled Barnards Green out for 228, with Jamie McIlroy, Nicholas Powell and Senuran Muthasamy all taking two wickets.

Tongue scored the majority of runs when Brock were put into bat, but James Mokler, Joe Crichard, Ian Bullock and Muthsuamy all contributed to ensure they got over the line with just under five overs to spare.

This Saturday, Brockhampton host fifth-placed Himley.

Eastnor are still in trouble in Division Three after losing by five wickets to Aston Manor.

Again, not enough batsmen scored enough runs for Eastnor, which has largely been their problem during a troublesome season.

Atiq Ur Rehman made an excellent 123 off 131 balls, while Faisal Khalid made a steady 46, but apart from captain Jabran Khalid (20 off 15), the rest of the order went cheaply.

Nevertheless, Eastnor bowled well, with Raheel Lone taking two wickets and four maidens from his 11 overs.

But Aston Manor always looked like winning, helped greatly by opener Byron Wyngard's 127 off 154 balls.

Former England Test star Phil DeFreitas also hit 42 off 39 balls as Aston Manor went past Eastnor's total of 253 with 17 balls left.
