BOTH Bromyard and Wormelow are in danger of dropping out of Division Two of the Worcestershire County League.

Bromyard currently occupy the last relegation spot with 93 points, while Wormelow are only two points better off.

Both teams have only strung three wins between them all season and they sustained heavy defeats last time out.

Bromyard again conceded a hatful of runs, this time 393 at the hands of leaders Redditch.

It means the Herefordshire side have now conceded an astonishing 806 runs in their last two games.

Opener Rizwan Mohammed Choudry hit a divisional record stand of 231 off 110 balls for Redditch, which included 24 sixes.

Bromyard's innings were reduced to 42 overs and despite fine knocks from Edd Oliver (88 not out) and Rob Willis 980) not out, they could only muster 192-3.

Wormelow once again had to rely on Lachlan Hartley to score the majority of their runs, but his 84 was not enough against Worcester Dominies & Guild and they fell to a seven wicket defeat.

Looking to come into Division Two are Bartestree & Lugwardine.

The villagers are second in Division Three, but their eight-wicket defeat against Old Vigornians last Saturday means it's getting very tight at the top of the division with only 12 points separating the top three sides.

In the same division, Ross-on-Wye went down to a 66-run defeat against bottom club Cleobury Mortimer.

Colwall won the game of the day against Worcester Nomads to return to the top of Division One.

Jack Night-Adams and Wehan Joubert both took two wickets to restrict Nomads to 194-7 off 50 overs before Ben Butler, James Abel and Ben Wheeler all scored useful runs to see them reach their target.

Burghill, Tillington & Weobley, who are fifth, went down to a heavy 144-run defeat against Worcester.

Mohammed Adeel top scored with 144 for Worcester as his team scored 286-7, while Burghill, Tillington & Weobley were bowled out for 142.
