ABERGAVENNY stay top of Division One of the GB Liners Marches League with a comfortable victory over Builth Wells.

James Platford's century helped Luctonians keep up the pressure on them though. helping his side secure a winning draw over Ledbury.

Alan Jones was the star for Garnons as his 5-28 helped restrict Goodrich to 166-9, with Duane Evans' unbeaten 45 seeing the home side over the line.

Elsewhere in the division, Tim Jones hit 81 as Glangrwyney posted 193-9 in a winning draw against Canon Frome & Marden who posted 179-6 in reply with Mike Williams top-scoring on 42.

In Division Two, a magnificent 191 from Edward Lovell was the platform for league leaders Brockhampton 3rd to post 376-4 against Builth Wells 2nd who limped to 132-7 at the close with Rhys Price weighing in with 3-7.

An unbeaten century from James Febery helped secure a seven-wicket victory for Colwall 3rd having been set 161 by Almeley.

There was another high score in Division Three where Stuart Morgan hit 115 to guide Goodrich 2nd past 300 although they had to make do with a winning draw against Eastnor 3rd (151-7).

Garnons thrashed Strollers by 165 runs as the home side were dismissed for just 73.

Division Four table-toppers Hay-on-Wye beat Woolhope 2nd in a low-scoring match.

Having been dismissed for just 88, Woolhope managed to take six Hay scalps the visitors hit the winning runs.

Brockhampton 4th capped a wonderful day for the club by beating Bartestree & Lugwardine 4th by 153 runs.

There was a tight finish at Glangrwyney where the village's second team were dismissed for 173 thanks to three wickets apiece for Elliott Williams and Ollie King. But Wormelow 3rd inched home by three wickets, with Jon Herderschee leading the way with 58.

Herefordians demolished Luctonians 3rd. Having posted 219-5, Herefordians dismissed their opponents for just 55 to win by 164 runs.

There was also a low score for Kington 2nd as they were dismissed for 62, with Caleb Kent scoring more than half their runs.

Talybont-on-Usk won by eight wickets, with Sarah Lewis taking the only two Talybont wickets to fall.
