IAN Bullock was the star man for Herefordshire 2nds as his 122 from 125 balls helped the county demolish a Marches League Select XI by 232 runs.

Taylor Pugh also hit 41 off 26 balls, while Tom Coleman helped himself to 39 runs as Herefordshire finished on 334-6 off their 50 overs.

Pugh was then lethal with the ball, snapping up six wicket for 23.

Jack Taylor also had good figures of 3-18, helping Herefordshire bowl Marches out for 102.

This Sunday, Herefordshire go to Berkshire in another 50 overs match.

It was a different story for Bullock when he played for Brockhampton last Saturday.

The villagers fell to a 147-run defeat against Smethwick in Division One of the Birmingham & District Premier Cricket League, with Bullock going for a duck.

Brockhampton currently lie second-from-bottom in the division after three matches.

Eastnor also lost in Division Three, losing by 85 runs to Lichfield.

A fine 71 by James Abel helped Colwall hammer Stourport by 145 runs in Worcestershire County League Division One, while Ben Owens hit 122 to steer Burghill, Tillington & Weobley to a 119-run win over Belbroughton.

In Division Two, Bromyard continue to struggle, with their latest defeat being at the hands of Bredon, while Wormelow lost by seven wickets to Evesham.

And the thirds had a torrid time against Ombersley Taverners' David Allen, who hit an amazing 11-ball half century. 

Bartestree & Lugwardine are flying in Division Three though and beat Netherton by 46 runs.

Ben Simpkin top-scored with 52, as well as taking four wickets.

In the same division, Ross-on-Wye fell to a seven-wicket loss to Harborne.

In the GB Liners Marches League, the top side after three matches is Kington.

They have won all their matches so far and beat Glangrwyney by 52 runs last Saturday.

It's a different story for defending champions Goodrich though, who have lost two of their opening three matches.

Last Saturday, the villagers went down to a five-wicket defeat to Luctonians.
