BROCKHAMPTON are now bottom of the Birmingham & District Premier Cricket Premier Division table after coming unstuck at Kenilworth Gardens.

The villagers have struggled all season and will be desperate for points when they travel to mid-table Ombersley this weekend.

Kenilworth posted 176, with Jamie McIlroy (3-28) and Callum Stewart (3-41) being the pick of the Brockhampton bowlers.

But the home side were unable to get the necessary runs, with many players getting out cheaply.

Their top scorer was middle-order batsman Joe Crichard, who posted 41, with the next highest being Henry Langford and Danny Irvine, who scored 27 and 24 respectively.

Eastnor are also bottom of their league, with their latest defeat coming against Division Two leaders Bridgnorth.

Bridgnorth declared on 255-5 with four overs left, largely thanks to opener Karl Quinley's fine 85.

Eastnor shared the wickets around, with Shahid Ahmed, Sajid Ali, Suleyman Shah and Mahaaz Ahmed all taking one each.

But the county side were always up against it in their pursuit of Bridgnorth's total and were eventually bowled out for 200.

It could have been worse though if it was not for Shahid Ahmed, who made 72 after coming in as number 10

Colwall were the only Herefordshire side who won in Division One of the Worcestershire County Cricket League after captainMax Backhouse claimed a five-for against Worcester Nomads. Ben Butler also finished unbeaten on 51 that saw Colwall win by three wickets.

Mike Reece's 47 was not enough for Bromyard as they succumbed to a four-wicket defeat against relegation rivals Oldswinford & Stourbridge Social.

The result means that Bromyard are now only five points above Oldswinford, who are currently second from bottom.

Burghill & Tillington should be safe from relegation, despite losing at the hands of high-fliers Droitwich Spa.

James Burston (4-38) was the pick of the players for Burghill, who went down to a 58-run loss.

In Division Two, Lee Watkins' unbeaten 76 helped beat Evesham, who are just below them in the league table.

Elliott Williams also hit 59 that saw Wormelow earn a six-wicket victory.

Calum McIntosh was nine runs short of scoring a century for Ross-on-Wye who, despite notching 229 runs, fell to a 38-run defeat against Old Vigornians.

Elsewhere in the division, Bartestree & Lugwardine were thrashed by 75 runs against Claverley, despite Luke Tulacz scoring a half century.

Meanwhile, in the Division Two of the Second XI League, Colwall beat Worcester Nomads in an astonishing game that saw 713 runs scored.

Henry Coleman led the way for Colwall with 123, while Fergus Cameron notched 89 and Oliver Garnett 47.

Goodrich still hold a healthy lead at the top of the GB Liners Marches Cricket League Division One table after beating bottom club Canon Frome, but they are out of the Knock-out Cup after losing to Luctonians.

Ian Probert's fine 81 saw Lucs rack up 313-6, which Goodrich were never likely to reach.

Luctonians will face the winners of Brockhampton 3rd and Garnons in the final.
