EASTNOR will hope they never see Harry Horsley again after the Coventry & North Warwickshire bowler ripped through them to earn an eight-wicket romp in Birmingham & District Premier Cricket League Division Two.

Horsley snapped up an amazing nine wickets as Eastnor were bowled out for just 69.

Only Tareq Jamil (13), Jack Myers (10) and Dave Waters (10) got into double figures for Eastnor, with Greg Ricketts the only other bowler to get a wicket for Coventry.

Coventry then only needed 15 overs to get the required runs, with Sarfaraz Pathan top scoring with 41; Jamil and Sahmeer Ahmed taking the Eastnor wickets.

It was bad news for Brockhampton as well, who fell to a seven-wicket defeat against West Bromwich Dartmouth in the Premier Division.

Joe Crichard (82) and Danny Irvine (75) both contributed well with the bat for Brockhampton, who made a fine 247-6 off their 55 overs.

But that was still not enough as reigning champions West Bromwich got their required runs with five overs to spare.
