Leominster Town had plenty to celebrate when they held their awards evening.
As well as the club’s first team establishing themselves in Division One of the West Midlands League, the Town Colts side picked up a double helping of silverware when they won the Herefordshire League Division Two (North) championship as well as carrying off the FW Peterson Cup.
Top prize of the evening, at Shooters Bar, went to Colts co-manager Ben Bowen. He received the clubman-of-the-year award from Hereford Times deputy editor Andrew Doyle who presented all the awards.
Award winners were: Leominster Town: players’ player, Ben Price; manager’s player, Matt Williams; leading scorer, Matt Williams; young player-of-the-year, Sam Thomas.
Leominster Town Colts: players’ player, Ben Stroud; manager’s player, Stefan Evans; leading scorer, Stefan Evans; young player-of-the-year, Kyle Whitticase.
