DISCUS thrower Emma Crooke set a new British record and finished fourth at the World Indoor competition in Sweden.
The 17-year-old threw 37.48 metres at the Tipshallen Arena to secure a new Under-20 British Indoor record.
The Hereford Sixth Form College student also trained with world class coach Vaasteinn Hafsteinsson.
Emma, who is now a Birchfield Harrier, spent two days training with her coach Andy Brittan.
