Hereford United supporters’ chief Keith Dodd says the struggling Bulls have played well in recent matches without picking up the points.

“We have been playing well in recent matches and not getting results,” said Dodd, chairman of Hereford United Independent Supporters’ Association (HUISA).

“I don’t know what to do – and I don’t know what I would do if I was on the board - but something needs to be sorted out. It's a tough one.

“We have Gary Peters, Jamie Pitman and two coaches and everyone is wondering what is going on and who is doing what.

“I am just really sorry for the board because they are doing everything right off the pitch but it’s a different situation on it.

“Gary Peters has disappeared (from the bench) and we don’t know what’s going on there.”

Pitman’s United led 4-2 at Gillingham last night with just 10 minutes left.

However, the Bulls missed a penalty and ended up losing 5-4.

Dodd said that HUISA had not held a meeting to discuss last night's loss or indeed the managerial situation.

And Dodd added the views expressed were his own.

“I feel very sorry for David Keyte because he’s been the best thing that has ever happened to Hereford United off the pitch,” said Dodd.

“If we now put Gary Peters in charge, the fans didn’t seem to like his style of football.

“When Gary was doing his talks to the fans, he would explain what the team were doing and why they were doing it.

“But we were playing badly and were not getting the results.

“It’s a very difficult one – we’ve been playing well and not getting the best of luck.”
