FANCY dress, face painting and a special fire fighters challenge are all on the menu for the first ever Family Festival Game at Edgar Street this Saturday when the Bulls take on high-flying Crawley Town.

Running until December, the Family Football Festival campaign is being launched by The Football League to attract new families to games this autumn.

Special family tickets costing £25 – for two adults and up to three children – and £20 – for one adult and up to four children – are on sale for the Crawley game.

The Bulls are also offering club shop vouchers for a fancy dress competition for young and old which will be staged before kick-off and there will be face-painting for the youngsters.

The Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service are also joining in the fun and they will provide the half-time entertainment with fire fighters Hannah Densley and Martin Lown competing in a ‘Toughest Fire Fighter Challenge’.

Hannah and Martin will undertake a series of equipment carries, followed by a race to take a penalty against Edgar the Bull.

Meanwhile, director of football Gary Peters is looking for fans to continue to get behind the team when they take on the League 2 promotion- hopefuls.

“I'm delighted with how the lads have worked since I've been here, even the players who have not been in the starting line-up,” he said. “Players like Michael Townsend who came for the last 10 minutes against Bradford and worked so hard to close them down.

“That's the sort of commitment we need between now and the end of the season if we are to be successful.

“Since I have been here everything has been positive and the fans have really got behind the team.

“We're all in the same fight together, and we have to be behind everyone.”
