THERE has been a lot of activity at the club over the past few weeks - with players coming in on loan and some going out on loan.

Sean Canham has not played much football this year and he’s gone to Kidderminster Harriers for a month.

He’s been very frustrated at not getting an opportunity here - so it’s a good chance for him to get some games. Sam Gwynne has gone to Telford until the end of the season. He was not going to get many opportunities at H e r e f o r d because I’ve got an abundance of very good midfielders. He’s going to play some games for Telford and put himself in the shop window for next season. Sam Malsom has gone to Gloucester to get some games and experience.

Dominik Werling has got a knee injury but we are looking at a few things with him. He’s not going to feature at this club and he’s asked me if he can go.

Dan Connor is someone who we are unlikely to see again this season. Dan has had a major hip operation but we are hoping he will be available for next season.

Harry Pell has come in from Bristol Rovers and he’s fitted in very well. He’s an exciting midfielder. I felt I needed to get Harry in because James McQuilkin and Nicky Featherstone have played well for a long period and it’s a lot to take on board when they are so young. They’re obviously disappointed because they want to play in every game but, as a squad, the most important thing is for us to stay in the Football League.

We have to make sure that everyone is fresh. I don’t want to change things too much but there will become a time when we will have to rotate the players due to the high number of games. Waide Fairhurst has come in from D o n c a s t e r Rovers and scored his two goals at Cheltenham and worked very hard. If he continues to do that, it will be great for him and great for us.

Dave Kevan has come in on the coaching side. He’s got a great amount of experience.

He’s been at Notts County and he had a brief spell at Stockport. He’s worked with Sven-Goran Eriksson and we’re delighted to have him here. He takes a lot of pressure off me in doing some of the coaching and he has a very good opinion on football.

We all have an opinion, along with Russell Hoult, who has had a massive part to play in our revival. Dave is a very good coach and Russell is a jovial character who gets the dressing room going. I think I have built a squad that is competitive and we now want to make sure that we keep as many of the squad together as possible to build for next year. I think Adam Bartlett has done consistently well and you can count on one hand the number of mistakes he’s made. For the amount of work that Adam’s had to do, he’s been fantastic. Adam made one mistake against Macclesfield but he
