IT was a father-son final in the 10th Whitecross Terry Mac handicap tournament.
Club coach Terry Prosser took on his son Matthew in the competition in a game of power and touch with some rallies lasting as long as 50 strokes before the younger man came out on top 3-0.
The competition, which featured more than 35 players aged from 13-72, almost had a final across the generations in the plate competition, too.
Nic Snell beat Whitecross School pupil Cameron Mcanally in the final after the youngster had defeated Snell's son William in the semi-final.
The club is always looking for new young old or ex members to join in such social and fun tournaments Contact club manager Amy Hill on 01432 276389 for details of membership social and coaching.
