LUCTONIANS Rugby Club’s promotion to National League 2 North has been confirmed by the RFU.
The Herefordshire side will be joined in the division by Hinckley who finished third in National 3 Midlands.
The delay in confirming Luctonians’ promotion was due to the RFU’s decision to hold back National 3 Midlands champions Ampthill because of a breach in regulations.
The Bedfordshire club will now be competing next season in National 3 London & SE after a level transfer.
Hereford, who report back for pre-season training on July 6, are looking forward to their second campaign in National 3 Midlands.
Sheffield Tigers will play in the same division as the Wyesiders after being level-transfered from National 3 North.
National 3 Midlands: HEREFORD, Broadstreet, Bromsgrove, Burton, Kenilworth, Longton, Luton, Malvern, Newport, Old Northamptonians, Peterborough, Scunthorpe, Sheffield Tigers, South Leicester.
Midlands 4 West (South): LEDBURY, Alcester, Atherstone, Birmingham Exiles, Edwardians, Keresley, Manor Park, Pinley, Rugby Welsh, Stoke OB, Trinity Guild.
Midlands 5 West (North): BROMYARD, Aldridge, Birmingham CS, Five Ways OE, Hanford, Old Griffinians, Stourport, Tenbury Wells, Wheaton Aston, Whittington.
