Ross Rowing Club have bought a new coaching boat for their junior academy thanks to a grant from Herefordshire Voluntary Action.
The coaching boat has already been used to host longer training sessions and junior captain John Lewis said he was grateful to the support from the Grass Roots Grant.
Meanwhile, Ross Rowing Club’s veteran Coxed four won an inter-club time-trial.
Jeremy Picton Turbervill, Graham Watling, Paul Brodholt and Dave Skyes, with Lucy Jones coxing, triumphed in the trial which attracted more than 30 crews.
