PETE Beadle said he won't be looking at his side's promotion rivals despite seeing their gap cut to four points at the top of the Evo-Stik Southern Premier.
Hereford FC's defeat at the hands of King's Lynn Town last weekend and their mid-week fixture being postponed has seen the Linnets reduce their deficit by six points, but Beadle's side have two games in hand.
"It's in our hands and it's down to us and what we do, said Beadle.
"We can't worry about what others are doing and just need to keep performing with added ruthlessness. I don't doubt our team or players so we have no reason to look backwards but keep looking forwards.
"We had this with Alvechurch in the first season and that's just the way football is. We have 11 games to go and a lot of points to fight for so I would rather be in my position than another."
Hereford travel to Basingstoke on Saturday hoping to return to winning ways with defender Ryan Green facing a fitness test after missing Saturday's match.
The Bulls beat their hosts 4-1 earlier this season but Beadle is expecting a tougher test against a side with a good home record.
