THE popular Leominster Junior Tennis Tournament, set up by Jenny Ellerton and Pam James-Moore 30 years ago, celebrated its anniversary last week.

Almost 100 competitors from around the county took part in the three-day event held at Bridge Street Sports Centre and The Minster College, with some exciting finals taking place in glorious tennis weather.

Tournament organiser Gill Busby, who is retiring this year after helping to run the tournament for many years, was thanked for her hard work.
