HEREFORD fans were treated to a night of thrills and shocks as Ironfist Wrestling put on their first show of the year.

In the main event, Xander Cooper won an Ultimate X match which had the audience gasping with the daredevil antics of the participants.

The wrestlers as they battled to become number one contender for the Ironfist title and Cooper came out on top, defeating Killian Jacobs, Chris Brooks and Clayton Jackson.

The latter was a surprise entrant from Ohio, USA and was doing a tour of the UK,

The night got off to a shocking start when Hereford's Chris Royals pulled off an upset victory over long term Flyweight Champion Alex Gracie to win his first Professional Wrestling Championship.

Royals, nicknamed The Hatter, is a graduate of the Ironfist training Academy and has been wrestling professionally for just under two years.

The women’s division was shook to its core as Domina debuted, replacing Mel Price in a tag team match.

The 310lbs wrestler teamed with Kat Von Kaige to take on British Women's champion Millie McKenzie and Xia Brookside.

Elsewhere on the card, King of the Ironfist tournament 2017 winner, Joey Scott defeated newcomer Omari and Sebastian Knight overcame Hari Mahal.

The next Hereford show at the Richmond club is on August 19.
