HEREFORD Wheelers are holding their annual "Come and Try It" 10-mile time trial this Thursday.
The event, which will start at Allensmore from 7pm, is for all ages from 12 upwards and is aimed at encouraging riders to try and a time trial and ride 10 miles in under one hour.
All that is needed is a roadworthy bike and, if the rider is under 18, a signed parental consent form and cycling helmet.
Certificates will be awarded to all riders who achieve the target.
Signing on for the event will take place from 6pm at Pateshall Village Hall in Allensmore and the course is one loop, starting on the A465 towards Hereford.
From there, riders will head into Clehonger, then Kingstone and Thruxton before finishing on the A465.

* Meanwhile, vishing rider Earl Smith of Severn Valley Cycles took first place at the Wheelers race held in Leominster.
Smith recorded a time of 22 minutes 29 seconds, pipping KTM 's George Bartlett into second place.
Third went to Hereford Tri Club member Steve King, with Wheeler Paul Jones finishing fourth.
The women's race was won decisively by Wheeler Katie Price in a new personal best time of 24:10.
Hereford Tri Club's Kylie Mansfield was second and Sarah Jones (Wheelers) came third.
