LEOMINSTER remain unbeaten in 2015 following a 2-1 win against Devizes in Davis Wood Hockey League Conference North.
They took the lead with a brilliant team goal that saw Dave Harvey cross to Matt Duggan to fire home.
Leominster were relatively untroubled despite a few short corners from Devizes and went into the break 1-0 up.
Devizes started the second half strongly and should have equalised in the first 30 seconds were it not for a good diving stop from Duggan. Leominster then went 2-0 up through Jonty Goodey after good work from Josh Watkins.
Devizes came back strongly straight after and clawed a goal back but Leominster held on to secure the win.
Hereford beat Cardiff Medics 4-0 to remain second in De Cymru and The Marches 1, while in De Cymru and The Marches 2, Ross-on-Wye smashed Whitchurch 4th 5-0.
In the Marches 1, both Hereford 2nd and Leominster 2nd succumbed to defeats.
Hereford 2nd went down 4-2 to Stroud 2nd, while Leominster lost 6-0 to top-of-the-table Wotton-under-Edge 2nd.
In the Marches 2, Ross-on-Wye 2nd lost 5-3 to Stroud 3rd. The result leaves Ross second from bottom in the league table.
