HEREFORDSHIRE achieved an excellent victory by 115 shots to 85 when they visited Congresbury for a match against Somerset, winning four of the five rinks
played.
Herefordshire's top rink was well skipped by Glyn Williams to a 27-13 success and conceded only seven ends, while Ron Perry's rink conceded the same number in a 24-13 victory.
The rink skipped by Don Pugh led 15-11 after 14 ends and lot only two more shotsto register a fine 23-13 win, and John Wear skipped his rink to a 28-19 win.
Clive Handscombe's rink was level at 8-8 after 11 ends but won only three more ends in a 27-13 defeat.
