HEREFORD United are NOT advertising for players on the internet.

An urgent appeal for players, claiming to be from Hereford United, was placed on a website called UK Football Finder.

But this morning, a club official said the advert had not come from Jon Taylor and had not been produced with the knowledge of anyone at Hereford United.

The online posting, which claimed to be from Hereford United, read: "Southern Premier League side Hereford United is urgently looking for young pro and semi-pro players with desires to make it big in football.

"Please email your CV's to club@herefordunited.co.uk marked FAO Jon Taylor (1st Team Manager) Remember, you will HAVE to be able to play at Southern Premier League level.

"Open trials, training matches and pre-season games are currently underway - so don't delay get in touch!"

He probably did post the advert looking for players, but has since realised he will have to pay for the ad, so is denying all knowledge.

Boo - I was waiting for the call from Taylor. I may be 26 stone but I can get up out of my mobility scooter and take a penalty with the best of em and should HUFC ever be in a position where a specialist fat bloke is required I would have been there for them ..
Taylor in his well filled training top in the picture above doesn't know what he's missing out on. He doesn't look as though he does a lot of running these days does he?
I may be an arthritic, asthmatic, diabetic chronically obese wheelchair ridden one legged half blind smoker but i wouldn't lower meself to responding to HUFCs pleas for a specialist spot kick taker.
They can keep their blummin footballs...

To be honest any enthusiasm I had for Hereford United has now been eroded, I am fed up to the back teeth with it all.
All this rubbish being spouted by all parties has killed my support. I no longer care, HUFC are no more anyway, sorry but I bet I am not the only one.
