THE Football Association cannot disclose whether Hereford United’s new owner, Tommy Agombar, has passed the FA Owners’ and Directors’ Test.
MP Jesse Norman and Hereford United Supporters Trust are among those who have called for the details of the test to be made public.
However, the Football Association has told the Hereford Times today that due to matters of ‘confidentiality’ they cannot reveal the outcome of the test.
“It is up to the club to reveal the results – we are not able to,” said an FA spokesman.
The test applies to all clubs in the Premier League, Football League, Football Conference, Isthmian League, Northern Premier League and Southern Football League.
The Hereford Times has asked Hereford United’s new public relations officer, Laura Phelps, for a comment on the outcome of the test but are awaiting a reply.
