Bustleholme clash is vital, admits Bromyard Town skipper Dave Cannon

SATURDAY’S trip to second-bottom Bustleholme is a vital match for the club, says Bromyard Town skipper Dave Cannon says
“We beat them 2-1 earlier this season and they are down the bottom of the table,” said the tough-tackling defender.
“Bustleholme are probably not as good as Ellesmere and it’s a game we have to win.
“We are on a bad run now and we have to start winning. Saturday is a very big game for us now.”
Kidderminster-based Cannon says the season has been a tough learning curve for some of the side’s younger players.
“We have some young lads and they don’t always know when to do the right things.
“There are some good young lads here – next season will be a better year for us.
“Once we lost a couple of games, a few of the young lads started to look a bit worried and it’s up to the older lads to help them get through that.
“We probably need about three or four more experienced players to come in.
“The quicker we can do that, the better. Some of these young lads could come off the bench.”
The 32-year-old former Malvern Town and Stourport Swifts player paid tribute to striker Richard Burgess.
“Rich is s a great finisher and if we can get him a bit fitter, he is going to be such an asset.
“He has played at all levels and has scored at every level.
“He helps the young lads and never has a bad word for them.”
