HEREFORDSHIRE rider Alice Hurley achieved three firsts at the BAPSH (British Association of Purebred Spanish Horses) at Hartpury.

Hurley won with Deseado CCV in the dressage classes, Champion Gelding, Reserve Gelding Functionality and Gelding Best Movement, with Marques XC in the show classes, Champion Gelding Functionality, Overall Reserve Functionality Champion and Best British Bred with Rocky L Apollo.

Resuelto XX was only beaten by his team-mates into second place in two dressage classes.

Hurley trains and competes these Spanish stallions and geldings, which are owned by Karen Bourdon and Mark Pitman at Premier PRE Dressage, Middle Barton in Oxfordshire.

She will be preparing them for the Iberian Performance Show later this month after the British Dressage Regional Championships.
