THERMAL imaging cameras had to be used to help put out a chimney fire in Kidderminster yesterday evening (Monday, March 5).
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews from the town’s fire station were alerted to the blaze in Chester Road South at about 10.03pm.
After putting out the flames with the help of the thermal image camera and other ‘chimney gear’, the crew returning for a re-inspection to confirm the chimney was safe.
