THE LEDBURY Primary Carnival Night was an "L" of a great occasion last Friday (July 14), as youngsters dressed up to illustrate the twelfth letter of the English alphabet.
From Lego Man to Little Red Riding Hood and Little Bo Peep, the choice was almost endless for "L-Fest", among students and staff alike.
Even the school dog arrived as a lion, and headteacher, Julie Rees, was a lobster.
The school's carnival is something of an annual tradition, and each year hundreds of parents and friends attend to listen to live music and see the grand procession in the school grounds.
The carnival has a different theme each year.
Past themes have included Brazil and World War Two.
