MAN’S best friend enjoyed the spotlight at a Hereford and Worcester Animal Rescue dog show.
More than 130 dogs and their families took part in the fundraising event at the National Trust’s Brockhampton Estate near Bromyard.
The show was postponed in July when wet weather forced organisers to cancel, but despite the delay, was a huge success.
“It was wonderful to see so many ex-rescue dogs looking happy with all their sad times behind them,” said rescue centre manager Carol Smith.
“And so many other lovely families and their dogs came to support us. It was a really special day.”
Money raised will help the charity rehome abandoned dogs throughout Herefordshire and Worcestershire. For more information, call 01568 760033 or visit the charity shop in Leominster High Street.
