AN information event is to take place in Hereford on International Overdose Awareness Day.
Herefordshire Service User Group is hosting the event at St Peter's Church on Thursday, August 31 between 1pm and 3pm.
There will be conversations about overdose and its effects, music played by people in recovery, refreshments and Naloxone training (life-saving medication in the event of an opioid overdose).

In the evening there will be an alcohol-free comedy night at Coffee#1 In Hereford, courtesy of Farcical Comedy.
Tickets are £5 and are available from The Hereford Music Shop on commercial Road. All money raised will go towards overdose awareness.
