A 47-YEAR-old has had his driving licence taken off him for 12 months after being caught drink driving.
Daniel Nita of Old School, Ludlow was stopped on the A49 in Leominster on May 6 at 11.30pm.
Officers said he was swerving on the road and when they stopped him he was breathalysed and had 44mg of alcohol per 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35mg.
Nita pleaded guilty at Hereford Magistrates Court and said he was sorry.
He was disqualified from driving for 12 months, with a three month reduction if he takes a drink drive course. He was fined £100 and ordered to pay £100 prosecution costs and a £30 victim surcharge.
