EASTNOR blacksmith, Andrew Findlay will be putting his skills on show in America this month.
He has been asked to give demonstrations at the Metal Museum in Memphis.
Mr Findlay said it was a great honour and added: "It is The US equivalent to the V&A ironwork gallery with a large collection of outstanding pieces. I will be making and leaving behind a water lily grille inspired by the Mississippi river."
He has recently made a filigree arch with matching planters for the Wyndcliffe Court Sculpture Garden, near Tintern.
