Three crews attend kitchen fire
AN elderly woman was taken to hospital after a fire in Kington on Friday.
Three fire crews from Kington, Eardisland and Presteigne attended a house in Llewellin Road, Kington at 3.11pm. The fire service said it was a ground floor kitchen fire and the house was smoke logged.
A rapid response vehicle, an ambulance and an area support paramedic officer attended.
An elderly female was rescued from the fire and taken to Hereford County Hospital as she was suffering from smoke inhalation.
