ORGANISERS of the inaugural Lucton Food Festival are hoping to stir a taste sensation in March.

The indoor event, based at Lucton School, takes place on Saturday March 14 from 10am to 4pm.

Festival-goers will be treated to a day of sampling, demonstrations and workshops from more than 30 of the best food and drink producers from across the three counties.

Organiser, Becky Howl, hopes the Lucton Food Festival will have a broad appeal, and said: "It’s something for the whole family to enjoy. We’re so lucky to live in a region that produces some of the finest food and drink in the country and the festival will be a fantastic way to try new tastes and explore new food."

Organisers hope the festival will become a mainstay of the county’s culinary calendar after the first event this year.

Tickets for the festival cost £5 for adults and entry is free for children.
