CAMPAIGN to back the Beefy Boys’ bid for world burger domination has given rise to a 10-minute promo video for ‘Project Vegas’.
The six amateur cooks from Herefordshire are looking to raise money for their trip stateside next month to compete in World Food Championships, with the video tracking their rise from enthusiastic amateurs to Grillstock champions.
If they raise the full amount, they will document their adventures as they compete in the world championships, and film visits with some of the world’s top burger and BBQ chefs.
The group of friends has gained a cult following in the area through pop-up events at The Jailhouse and The Volunteer, and they are appealing to local businesses to get involved and help sponsor their trip.
They are also looking to ‘crowd fund’ the trip – asking for donations, and offering up ‘unique’ souvenirs like chef Christian’s hat.
