A HEREFORD estate agent shared the stage with a Strictly Come Dancing star.
Andrew Morris used his skills with the hammer to raise £20,000 for charity when he was joined by Anton du Beke at a glittering gala at Bristol City Football Club.
The pair were invited to lead last night's auction to celebrate Crest Nicholson's 50 year anniversary.
Crest, a property developer, will give the money raised to Habitat for Humanity - an international charity aiming to ensure everyone has a safe and decent place to live.
Mr Morris’ relationship with Crest goes back to 1982 when he sold many of the homes in Bobblestock.
The link continues today with the Bridge Street agent selling homes at Crest’s newest development in Holmer.
Mr Morris, 63, said: “I'm delighted to have played a part in Crest’s success and to be asked to take the role as auctioneer on this momentous night was the icing on the cake."
The top bid on the night from the 650 guests was a walk on part in Made in Chelsea which fetched £4,100.
