I WONDER if through the letters page of the Hereford Times you could publish a “thank you” from me to the very kind people who came to my aid in the station car park in Hereford on May 4.
I had gone to collect my daughter from the 10.50pm Paddington train.
As I was walking across the car park I was in collision with a car.
I do not know the names of the kind people who came to my aid, I know that I was covered in coats and jackets to keep me warm, was talked to with kindness and compassion and I did not once feel frightened. I think this was due to the care I was receiving from complete strangers.
The ambulance crew were wonderful and the police officers who attended were patient and understanding.
I should like to say thank you to all those people and I shall never forget their kindness and compassion.
GENA WHITEFOOT, Elton’s Marsh, Hereford.
