I ALWAYS enjoy celebrating Burns’ Night (History Times – January 28, 2012).
This year I bought my haggis and invited friends round to enjoy some good Scottish music and the traditional meal.
I got the haggis out ready to cook and looked at the instructions to check how long to cook it and suddenly noticed, under the instructions were the words ‘eat before January 24’.
Oh dear, Burns Night was on January 25. It didn’t kill us though, despite being out of date.
