The CAB helps so many
We are all aware that Local Government is under budgetary constraints. However, one might be moved to ponder the £150,000 /annum allocated to for a 3 year period (as a signposting organisation) versus the total cut in funding for Hereford CAB (£120,000/year).
Would it not have been more cost effective to maintain existing CAB support and to add in the services now allocated to WISH - two for the price of one, so to speak rather than to lose the unique expertise of CAB, built up over so many years, which once disbanded will be oh so hard to resurrect
