I refer to Talking Point, readers times, May 12,Wye Valley NHS Trust Chief Executive, Richard Beeken.

In his article on Dementia Mr. Beeken informs the readers of the Hereford Times that

'Dementia is a big issue and it's one the Trust is taking seriously.'

Heart disease is a big issue, so could he explain to the people of Herefordshire why an URGENT appointment to see a Cardiology consultant is taking

12 weeks with no guarantee that patients will be seen within that time frame? Advising instead that patients have the choice of being referred, by their GP's,

to another hospital with possibly shorter waiting times.

What could be useful would be a REGULAR publication of league tables of waiting times to see consultants at HCH, compared with other hospitals so that the public

and GPs are better informed.
