Proof of council savings is needed
HEREFORDSHIRE Council claim to have made £50 million of savings, and now propose to consult on potentially raising council tax next year.
To me that looks like an attempt to get back to where we were before the savings were made which would be a nonsense.
The consultation will only work if the council publish a detailed list of the savings they claim to have made, together with a similar explanation of where they propose to spend any additional income.
