I AGREE entirely with Nancy Malins’ letter titled Reminder to cyclists (Letters, July 16).
The morning after the report in the Hereford Times about a cyclist being jailed after knocking down a woman in High Town and who later died, my husband and I were walking in the same area when a young man came sweeping past us, from behind, on a BMX-type bicycle and continued at speed between other pedestrians and market stalls through High Town.
Unfortunately, this area is not policed as it should be. Surely Herefordshire Council could put some large signs up to tell cyclists they are breaking the law.
