FOLLOWING the Hereford Times coverage of the county’s rubbish problem (Tackling the litter louts, June 4), bags of garden waste were seen left in the lay-by outside Leominster near Cholstrey, despite the purpose-built skips at Leominster recycling centre.
Can any resident comment on how best to deal with this problem lay-by?
The council helpline has been used to remove a mattress from the grass verge in Wigmore; when the switchboard works correctly and you get through the five options, even this most difficult of objects to dispose of was finally removed.
A gold medal can be obtained if we all pull in the same direction for this county. Yes we can...
