I AM trying to contact my uncle and I was hoping Hereford Times readers could help.
His name is Peter Robinson. He was born in Stoke-on-Trent in 1938, probably in January. My mother - Rosa Robinson aka Riley - was his younger sister. He may have spent his early years in the Longton area of Stoke. His parents were Patrick and Gertrude Robinson. When his mother died, Peter was placed into care during the 1940s with a family in the Hereford area.
My uncle got married in Shropshire in the mid-1960s and lived there for a time, before returning to the Stoke-on-Trent area. His last known address was on Harrowby Road in the city during the mid 1990s.
He told locals there that he was moving back to Hereford to live. I hope someone who knows him or remembers him reads this.
