MANY times I have approached Hereford’s Aylestone Hill roundabout from Worcester on the A4103 in the left-hand lane to go straight over on the Roman Road A4103 and people in the right-hand lane, who are also going up the Roman Road but in the wrong lane, have honked their horn at me as though I’m in the wrong lane.

Sooner or later there will be an accident there.

There should be a sign telling people who know no better which is the correct lane for each junction.

As I understand it, if you’re coming from Worcester on the A4103 and want to go up Aylestone Hill on the A465 or straight over to Roman Road on the A4103, you stay in the left hand lane; only if you’re turning right to Sutton St Nicholas do you go in the right-hand lane.
